How it works

1. Download

Install or run the remote support app for your device.

2. Give consent

You provide the ID/code to Fix4IT. We cannot connect unless you allow the session.

3. We fix the issue

Fix4IT investigates the problem while you can watch what is happening on screen.

Use RustDesk for simple support sessions. RustDesk is an open-source remote desktop tool. Only download it from the official RustDesk website.

Windows support tool

For Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptops/desktops. Download RustDesk, open it, then tell Fix4IT your ID and one-time password.

Alternative: Microsoft Quick Assist

If you are on Windows, Fix4IT may also ask you to use Microsoft Quick Assist. Search for “Quick Assist” from the Start Menu.
